Livelihood Officer


  • Office Assignment: Office of the Municipal Mayor
  • Status: Contractual
  • Monthly Salary: Php. 19,085.00
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participates and contributes in the assessment, planning, development, implementation, training, monitoring, and evaluation activities related to livelihood initiatives;
  • Identifies and develops appropriate livelihood strategies and initiatives in the communities based on research and analysis conducted;
  • Implements all related livelihood initiatives;
  • Ensures that the budget for livelihood initiatives are properly managed, recorded, and reported (with required documentation);
  • Conducts assessment on capacity building needs of the communities related to livelihood; and
  • Identifies and organizes appropriate technical training (financial management, promotion and marketing, sustainability techniques), and livelihood skills training in the communities.
COMPETENCIES and QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree holder
  • Has at least one (1) year of experience relevant to livelihood industry operations
  • Eligibility is preferred but not required
  • Must possess supervision and management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, high stress tolerance, ICT skills, and community facilitation skills
